This Ancient Isle involves the player exploring a long-forgotten island searching for gems to activate statues. To complete the game, the player must deliver a gem to each of the five statues.

As well as the challenge of searching for statues and gems, the player can collect talisman objects and interact with narrative items in the form of handwritten notes.

To reveal the final gem, the player must solve a rune puzzle that involves matching cubes to the correct pattern by rotating them.

The game is set on an island inspired by the Scottish highlands and the Isle of Skye.
